``black book.``

Benny Binion

Benny Binion was born a year before Las Vegas herself, on November 20th, 1904 in Pilot Drove, Texas.

His father was a literal horse trader.

He didn't know how to read until his 50's when he learned in jail.

Kids:  Ted, Jack, Barbara, Becky and Brenda

Lester Ben "Benny" Binion

Died on Christmas Day in 1989.

On the morning of November 21, 1980, 85 people died and more than 700 were injured as a result of a fire at the MGM Grand Hotel. This was the second largest life-loss hotel fire in United States history.
